Four New "Government Specialty for e-business" Companies to Help
Governments Provide Revenue Management, Judicial, and Social Services Online

Bethesda, MD, June 26, 2001 -- IBM announced today the addition of four companies -- Image-X/E-Filing.com, Infocorp, Sysinct, and TekInsight to IBM's "Government Specialty for e-business" program. These companies join seven others that have earned this designation, which recognizes that they each provide unique software solutions that, working with IBM's e-infrastructure and services, are helping governments on all levels make the transformation to e-government.
"The addition of these four companies to this program enhances IBM's ability to offer a wide range of e-government solutions to governments on all levels," said David White, director of IBM solution and business partner sales. "In particular, these new member companies will help us bring online government court proceedings, legal filings, revenue management, social services provision, and a broad range of other comprehensive government-to-business and government-to-citizen transactions." Revenue management, White added, refers to Web-based systems that can assist governments in handling incoming revenues such as parking tickets, professional licensing fees, and tax payments.
