XForms, Contra County simplified their processes and eliminated unnecessary
paperwork. Most fliers to the Building Inspection department are contractors
and private individuals. With XForms, they are able to file for permits
for construction that does not require an inspection, for example water
heater installation, roof repairs, plumbing or electrical changes. Now parents
have the option to pay their support online using an E-Collection for. Contra
Costa County use XForms to place these forms online, where contractors,
individuals and parents can fill them out and submit them electronically.
The documents and data are automatically indexed in the county system and
can be retrieved with just a few clicks of the mouse. XML tagging allows
the data to be entered into the database automatically and easily exchanged
with other departments. XForms saves time for the public by making the forms
easily accessible and easy to submit. XForms also saves time for county
staff in charge of managing the forms once they have been submitted. |
